Liverpool return to action following a big summer of change at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp faces the challenge of rebuilding a next-generation team following the departure of Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich.

The Reds are stacked with options going forward, and all eyes will be on Luis Diaz to see whether he can fill the void left by Mane on a permanent basis. Darwin Nunez arrives as Liverpool's record signing and he will be desperate to hit the ground running.

Arguably the biggest signing for the Reds this summer has been locking down Mohamed Salah to a long-term deal that will see him remain in the North West for years to come.

Despite winning both the FA Cup and League Cup, last season ended in frustration for the Anfield outfit as they were beaten by Real Madrid in the Champions League final and saw Man City claim another Premier League title on a dramatic final day.

Klopp's side were battling for silverware on all fronts in 2021/22 and will expect to do the same in the new season, so ensuring they properly prepare for the start of the new campaign is important.

Their pre-season schedule will take them to Thailand, Singapore, Germany, and Austria before it concludes at Anfield on Sunday 31st July.
